Nickerson Beach Park

What better way to welcome in the summer season than spending a day (or two) at Nickerson Beach? One of Nassau County’s true gems, the park includes a beautiful three-quarter-mile shoreline, the Atlantic Ocean beyond and lots of other recreational activities. In addition to the beach and ocean, there are basketball courts, a playground, a skate park, volleyball courts, a dog run and a concession stand.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, there is an $8 parking charge for Leisure Pass holders (available to County residents) and $30 for non-Leisure Pass holders. For more information, call 516-571-7700 or visit Nickerson Beach Park.
