Garvies Point Museum & Preserve

The museum features exhibits and programs on the geology of New York State and also exhibits Native American archaeology. The museum provides an overview of the geological development of Long Island. The preserve is made up of 62 acres of forest, 5 miles of nature trails, a picnic area, and a beautiful shoreline.

Hours: Garvies Point Museum & Preserve is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am-4pm.
Fees: Adults $3, children 5-12 years of age $2.
