Cradle of Aviation

Long Island’s Cradle of Aviation museum showcases 100 years of Long Island’s aviation history with all kinds of interactive exhibits. See a replica of Charles Lindbergh’s “Spirit of St. Louis.” Discover Long Island’s role in World War II. And don't miss the aerospace park, filled with Long Island-related military aircraft, missiles, and a rare, original Apollo lunar module built by Grumman in Bethpage.

Hours: The museum is open every day from 9:30am to 5:00pm.
