Centennial Park

In Roosevelt, this recently renovated two-acre park’s amenities include a new state-of-the-art playground with eight swings, climbing apparatus and slides. The renovated basketball courts are outfitted with a dozen basketball hoops that have fiberglass backboards and color-coated courts. Basketball legend Julius Erving (“Doctor J”), who grew up in the community, played ball in the park as a youngster.
